During
our High Holiday trips to Birmingham, I take my Hebrew letter molds
and am invited to do a class with the kindergarten group at the JCC.
They have learned their Hebrew names, and we make the tiles with the
letters of their Hebrew name. The teacher fires them, the kids glaze
or paint them, and then make name plates with their Hebrew names to
take home. We all have fun, and, from what Jessica (my
daughter) tells me, the siblings of the previous years' kids can't
wait for me to work with THEIR class.
